The project covers the so called Greater Alpine Area (GAR) from about 4-19 E and 43-49 N. The density of the station network and length of a single station depends very strong on the climate element - in case of precipitation measurements we have collected and homogenised more than 200  stations and the longest series (temperature, airpressure) goes back into the year 1760. All stations have been seperated into regions with common climate variation - the Coarse Resolution Subregions (CRS). Most of the homogenised data can be found in the Datasection of this web page.
