Synoptic situation
The set of Meteosat 8 Enhanced IR10.8 images shows the forming of the depression as it further deepens and moves into the Alpine region. More important to foucs is the level of convectivity that can be observed on the northside of the Alps. The duration of this case also becomes clear when observing the timpestamp on the left lower corner.
