In the following chapters a short introduction is given on how the basic RGB techniques can be used to create quite advanced meteorological applications. Adjusting temperature/reflectance thresholds/ranges are some of the widely used preparatory methods for RGB images, so they will be dealt here. More complicated methods (lookup tables, adjusting gamma values, histogram equalizations, etc.) are not within the scope of this module, and will not be dealt with here.
