CONVERGENCE LINES OVER SEAS AND LAKES - SHORT SUMMARY

by KNMI

Example

In the example below a convergence line can be seen over the Irish Sea. Due to the bay-shaped area the convection organises itself into a line. Other characteristic places where these lines develop are, for example, in the Skaggerak or the Gulf of Finland.
