Temperature Advection:
The vertical distribution of temperature advection is not as distinct as expected in these cases. Usually a much higher
and extended area of WA is seen. In this case WA only reaches up to about 800 hPa and there is already CA above. On the other hand, this is the typical configuration for an increase of instability. So, whilst this case does not show an ideal situation, it is not contradictory.
Divergence:
The vertical distribution of divergence shows a zone of convergene in front and within the frontal cloud band. There is
an increased maximum of convergence in low layers in the area of the Cb line and therefore the distribution is in
relatively good agreement with the ideal configuration.
