Precipitation
  • Generally no significant precipitation.
  • Cloud Streets develop by themselves, occasionally into open cell convection and producing rain or snow showers especially over sea. Over land there is usually no precipation associated with Cloud Streets but in some cases there is Cb-development which is usually driven by dynamic forcing, such as PVA or diurnal heating.
